BLUE MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE – AN UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

ITINERARY:

8:00 AM – Depart from Sydney Central
9:00 AM – Arrive at Sydney Zoo

• 30-minute guided tour through the Australiana section

• Kangaroo feeding and digital koala photo opportunity

• 30 minutes of free time to explore the zoo at your own pace

10:15 AM – Depart Sydney Zoo and head towards the Blue Mountains

11:15 AM – Arrive at Wentworth Falls Lookout

• Take in your first view of the Blue Mountains

• Short walk to Jamison Lookout (approx. 5 minutes)

• Toilet and picnic stop

11:45 AM – Depart for Leura, driving via Fletcher Street and Valley Road to see historic homes

12:00 PM – Lunch and free time in Leura

• Bakehouse on Wentworth (great Aussie pies including Kangaroo Pie – closed Mondays)

1:00 PM – Depart for Echo Point, via Cliff Drive
1:15 PM – Arrive at Echo Point to view the famous Three Sisters rock formation

1:45 PM – Depart Echo Point and head towards Scenic World

• Scenic drive via Princes Rock Lookout (optional stop)

• Cross over to Scenic World via Skyway

• Guide accompanies group across; driver meets on the other side

• Ride the Scenic Railway down into the valley for a short guided rainforest walk

Enjoy free time at Scenic World

4:00 PM – Depart Scenic World / Katoomba for Sydney

• Optional scenic detour: drive by Narrow Neck Lookout and stop at Cahill’s Lookout for photo opportunities (if time permits)

6:00 PM – Arrive back in Sydney CBD
