Charity Caravan "Walking Children to School": Ha Noi – Binh Lieu – Hoanh Mo Secondary & High School

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HA NOI – HOANH MO – BINH LIEU (Lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Border caravan journey & charity activity

• Depart Ha Noi at 05:30 for Hoanh Mo via the Ha Noi – Hai Phong – Mong Cai expressway and Highway 18.
• Join the Hai Phong group at 07:30–08:00 at V77 rest stop and the Quang Ninh group at 09:30–10:00 at Cam Hai rest stop.
• Arrive at Hoanh Mo Border Gate at 11:30 for souvenir photos at the gate and the sacred Border Marker 1317 beside the Dong Mo River.
• Lunch at 12:00 at a local restaurant in Hoanh Mo.
• Travel to Hoanh Mo Secondary & High School at 13:00 to join a meaningful charity program presenting ao dai to the students.
• Visit Border Marker 1321 at 15:00 and learn about border patrols and environmental protection along the frontier.
• Dinner at a local restaurant and check in for an overnight stay in Binh Lieu.

DAY 2: BINH LIEU – DINOSAUR SPINE RIDGE – HA NOI (Breakfast, lunch)

Main activities: Conquer the majestic "Dinosaur Spine"

• Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
• Depart for Border Marker 1305, famous for its spectacular "Dinosaur Spine" ridge.
• Climb 2,000 concrete steps along a 2 km winding ridge to the impressive Marker 1305 and take in the rolling mountains.
• Hearty lunch at a local restaurant in Binh Lieu before continuing the journey.
• Depart back to Ha Noi.

Pricing for Children

- Children under 5: no service charge; parents take care of the child and pay any extra costs (e.g. height-based charges). Two adults may bring only 1 child under 5; a second child pays the rate for ages 5 to under 12 plus the single-room supplement. Air, rail and public transport tickets follow the carriers' rules
- Children from 5 to under 12: 50% of the adult tour price (no separate bed). Two adults may bring only 1 child aged 5 to under 12; any additional child must buy a single bed.
- Children 12 and over: 100% of the adult price.

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

After payment, if you wish to cancel the tour, please bring your ID card and payment receipt to the Vietravel office to complete the cancellation procedure. Cancellations by phone are not accepted.
- Cancellation time is counted in working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays/Tet.
- Arriving late for the flight is treated as a cancellation 1 day before departure.
Refund and cancellation terms follow the Travel Ticket Sales Conditions attached to the contract. - Cancellation after registration – cancellation fee 10% of the tour price
- Cancellation 15 days before departure: cancellation fee 50% of the tour price
- Cancellation 5 days before departure: cancellation fee 70% of the tour price
- Cancellation 2 days before departure: cancellation fee 100% of the tour price

- Cancellation 20 days before departure: cancellation fee 70% of the tour price
- Cancellation 10 days before departure: cancellation fee 100% of the tour price
