Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HA NOI - HO CHI MINH CITY - BEN TRE - TOUCHING LOCAL LIFE (Lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Experiencing Mekong river life and a sustainable tourism model.

• • Fly from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City, then depart for Ben Tre
  • At Ben Tre tourist pier, drift down the Mekong, observing riverside life, architecture adapted to the tides and the effects of climate change.
• Stop at the Thom River Coconut Market to learn about coconut transport and processing, meet local people and explore the value chain of products such as coconut fibre and shells.
• At Con Ho, enjoy a meal with the flavours of the river region; hear about residents' lives, climate-adaptive agriculture and how the community develops tourism alongside conservation.
• Local experiences:
  • A herbal foot soak in the folk tradition.
  • Roasting clay-wrapped eggs.
  • Learning water-hyacinth weaving with local people.
• Join the digital "Climate Learning Journey" activity, looking back at the trip from the angle of the environment, community and responsible tourism.

DAY 2: VINH LONG - A HUNDRED YEARS OF ROOTS: THE WAX COCONUT (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Discovering the story of a century-old specialty – the wax coconut

• Discover the hundred-year story of the wax coconut through these experiences:
• Enjoy tea and products made from wax coconut.
• Learn the story of the Wax Coconut Ancestor through ancient relics.
• Visit Phuoc Hue Pavilion, a symbol of blessing, wisdom and prosperity.
• Try identifying, husking and cracking fresh wax coconuts, and taste them.
• Lunch with a creative wax-coconut menu, such as tep cakes, coconut-shrimp-pork salad and wax coconut in milk…
• Check in at the homestay and rest. Evening: enjoy Don Ca Tai Tu folk music, with songs and tunes full of the Mekong's warmth.

Overnight in Vinh Long.

DAY 3: RETURN TO THE RED KINGDOM (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: "Upstream through heritage to the red-pottery land"

• Journey to Mang Thit – the "Red Kingdom", famous for its century-old brick and pottery kilns of the Mekong Delta.
• Learn the history of red pottery, cruise the Co Chien River and Thay Cai Canal and see old kilns that once blazed with fire.
• When the boat docks, cycle along cool green village lanes, visit an orchard and taste seasonal fruit.
• Lunch on board, in the river setting.
• The boat arrives at Vinh Long Passenger Port, and the group departs for Ho Chi Minh City.
• Stroll Nguyen Hue Street and Bach Dang Wharf – Saigon's dynamic rhythm
• Enjoy distinctive cuisine and explore the city by night, or register for an optional experience at own expense:

Option 1: A multi-sensory cultural performance with dining (includes 01 main meal, transport not included)

• Photo stops at Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office and Book Street
• Fly back to Ha Noi – End of program

Pricing for Children

• Under 5: no service fee, airfare per airline regulations
• From 5 to under 12: 90% of the adult tour price, no separate bed
• 12 and over: charged as an adult.

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

After payment, if you wish to cancel the tour, please bring your ID card and payment receipt to the Vietravel office to complete the cancellation procedure. Cancellations by phone are not accepted.
- Cancellation time is counted in working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays/Tet.
- Arriving late for the flight is treated as a cancellation 1 day before departure.
Refund and cancellation terms follow the Travel Ticket Sales Conditions attached to the contract.

- Cancellation 5 days before departure: cancellation fee 70% of the tour price.
