Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – HA NOI – BAC NINH (Lunch, dinner)

Main activities: From the Five City Gates to the land of Quan Ho

• Meet at Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Ha Noi.
• Board the heritage train "Ha Noi Five City Gates – The Hanoi Train", gliding through memories of Thang Long – Kinh Bac to the sound of quan ho, cheo and ca tru folk music.
• Visit the sacred Do Temple, try making Dong Ho folk paintings and "husband and wife" cakes, and feel the depth of Bac Ninh culture.
• Back in Ha Noi, enjoy the famous old-style cha ca (grilled fish), then stroll the 36 streets of the Old Quarter, sip coffee among the lights and feel the capital's unique night-time rhythm.
• Overnight in Ha Noi.

DAY 2: HA NOI – YEN TU (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: A day of slow living in the Zen land of Yen Tu

• After breakfast, depart for Yen Tu and stroll past Khai Tam Gate, Giai Oan Stream and Doan Nguyet Lake, then lunch and free choice of activities:
  • Ride the cable car to view the East Yen Tu range and pay respects at the sacred Hoa Yen and Dong pagodas (cable car at own expense).
  • Enjoy healing and wellness treatments at Am Tue Tinh (at own expense).
  • Immerse yourself in traditional culture at Lang Nuong village with candle- or incense-making, or learn how Yen Tu apricots are produced… (workshop at own expense).
  • Join a Vietnamese Tea workshop, where tea-making is not just a technique but a journey of nurturing the mind and cultivating stillness in every movement (workshop at own expense).
  • Relax with meditation and a herbal foot soak (Vietravel offers each guest one complimentary herbal foot soak).
• Enjoy a peaceful macrobiotic meal at Ven Suoi restaurant, accompanied by babbling streams, birdsong and rustling bamboo.
• Evening: unwind with folk melodies at the "Lang Nuong Festival Night" performance amid the Yen Tu forest.
• Overnight in Yen Tu.

DAY 3: YEN TU – HA LONG (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Following the waves through a wonder of the world

• Start gently with yoga and breakfast in peaceful surroundings before departing for Ha Long.
• Cruise Ha Long Bay: see the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, extract a pearl yourself at Tung Sau and relax in the clear water of Ti Top Island.
• Enjoy a 9-tier seafood hotpot.
• Evening: free time in lively Bai Chay, with fireworks and the 3D Mapping show at the Lighthouse (at own expense), or explore the Vui Fest Ha Long night market.
• Overnight in Ha Long.

DAY 4: HA LONG – NAM DINH – NINH BINH (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: From the sea to the Ancient Capital

• In the morning, visit Cai Dam market to shop for local products and feel the bustle of the seaside city (at own expense).
• Leave Ha Long for Nam Dinh and lunch.
• Arrive in Ninh Binh and take an electric car around Bai Dinh Pagoda, admiring its majestic Buddhist complex.
• Evening: free time for folk games and cultural activities in Hoa Lu Old Town - Ninh Binh.
• Overnight in Ninh Binh.

DAY 5: NINH BINH – NOI BAI AIRPORT – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch)

Main activities: Flavours of the Ancient Capital

• After breakfast, take a boat along the Ngo Dong River to discover the poetic landscapes of Tam Coc.
• The journey ends with a specialty goat meal of the Ancient Capital: rare goat with lime, grilled goat, goat dipped in fermented rice broth, goat spring rolls... (menu may vary).
• Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Pricing for Children

● Children under 5: no service charge; parents take care of the child and pay any extras. 2 adults may bring only 1 child under 4; a second child pays the 4-to-under-12 rate plus a single-room supplement. Air, rail and public transport tickets follow the carriers' rules.
● Children from 5 to under 12: 75% of the package price, including transport, meals per the program and entrance tickets by age/height; sharing a bed with parents. 2 adults may bring only 1 child; each additional child must buy a single bed.
● Children 12 and over: charged as adults.

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

- After payment, if you wish to change or cancel the tour, please bring your Travel Ticket to the office where you registered to complete the change/cancellation procedure and pay the fees set by
Vietravel. Changes or cancellations by phone cannot be processed.
- Cancellation time is counted in working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays/Tet. - Change to another tour more than 20 days before departure: free of charge.
- Cancellation or change 15–19 days before departure: 50% of the tour deposit.
- Cancellation or change 12–14 days before departure: 100% of the tour deposit.
- Cancellation 8–11 days before departure: 50% of the tour price.
- Cancellation 5–7 days before departure: 70% of the tour price.
- Cancellation 2–4 days before departure: 90% of the tour price.
- Cancellation within 1 day of departure: 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- Change to another tour more than 30 days before departure: free of charge.
- Cancellation or change 25–29 days before departure: 50% of the tour deposit.
- Cancellation or change 20–24 days before departure: 100% of the tour deposit.
- Cancellation 17–19 days before departure: 50% of the tour price.
- Cancellation 8–16 days before departure: 70% of the tour price.
- Cancellation 2–7 days before departure: 90% of the tour price.
- Cancellation within 1 day of departure: 100% of the tour price.
