Northeastern Vietnam: Ha Noi – Ha Giang – Lung Cu – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: DA NANG - HA NOI - TUYEN QUANG – HA GIANG (Lunch, dinner)

Dear guests, gather at Da Nang airport, our guide will assist you with your flight to Ha Noi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, our vehicle and guide will welcome you and take you to Ha Giang, a land of fragrant Shan tea, honey wine, and historical landmarks. The region is known for its striking displays of wild flowers such as: three-cornered blossoms, golden cress, wild plums, flowers of the genus, and crape myrtles. Come witness the vibrant energy of the local evening markets.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Upon arrival in Ha Giang, take memorable photos at the Kilometre Zero marker, marking the starting point of the Happiness Road. This road connects Ha Giang with the four mountainous districts of Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vhac.

Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner. You are free to explore Ha Giang City in the evening.

Overnight stay in Ha Giang.

DAY 2: HA GIANG – LUNG CU – DONG VAN (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Breakfast and check out from the hotel. The car and guide will take you to explore the Global Geological Park of the Dong Van Plateau (covering the administrative boundaries of 4 northern districts of Ha Giang province with an area of 2,356 km2) with special check-in points:

• Conquer Bac Sum Hill, freely visit and take pictures of Tach Son Than (Self-pay for entrance fee)
• Enjoy the view of Doi Quan Ba Mountain - a symbol of the beauty of the stone plateau.
• Tham Ma Pass - winding roads like a soft ribbon winding along the mountainside.
• Lung Cam Cultural Village - Sung La Valley: is nicknamed the "rose" in the heart of the stone plateau, always attracting tourists with its simple and rustic beauty. It was once the filming location of the Vietnam Film Association's Outstanding Short Film "Pao's Story", allowing tourists to learn about the culture of the Mong people.
• Lung Cu Flag Pole, also known as Dragon Mountain Peak, the northernmost point of the country with a 54m2 flag representing 54 ethnic groups, including electric car tickets for sightseeing. From the top, you will enjoy the refreshing greenery of the terraced fields and the villages of Lo Lo Chai, Thean Pa, in the distance there are 2 lakes facing each other, which the locals call the "dragon's eyes".

You will have dinner in Dong Van and check into the hotel. In the evening, you can freely stroll around the old town of Dong Van, enjoy Thang Den tea, coffee, etc.

Stay overnight in Dong Van.

Note:

- Visiting the Lung Cu Flag Pole may not be possible due to adverse weather conditions.

DAY 3: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG – MEO VAC (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a tour:

• Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que River - Tu San Gorge: Ma Pi Leng Pass is renowned as one of the "Four Great Mountain Passes" in northern Vietnam. From the pass, you can see the Nho Que River flowing like a jade ribbon across Tu San Gorge, considered the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia. Take photos of the gorge and Nho Que River at the Panorama Coffee Shop.
• The Royal House Architectural Complex (King's House), a beautiful and unique architectural masterpiece in the mountainous region.

Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by the return journey to Ha Giang.

In the evening, guests can rest or enjoy coffee on the top of **Cam Mountain**, overlooking Ha Giang City at night. Have a bowl of Au Tau porridge (own expense).

Overnight stay in Ha Giang.

DAY 4: HA GIANG – HA NOI - DA NANG (Breakfast, lunch)

Guests pay for accommodation and breakfast. A vehicle will take guests to Noi Bai Airport, with stops for shopping at local specialties of the Tra Shan Tuyet mountain region, including Bac Ha honey, dried water buffalo, Huong mushrooms, and dried bamboo shoots.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, a guide will assist guests with check-in procedures for their flight to Da Nang City. The tour ends at the airport.

• The itinerary may change the order of destinations based on the actual situation.
• The sightseeing schedule (bathing, flower viewing, experiences...) can be greatly affected by weather. This is unavoidable, so please understand and be tolerant.
• Hotels may be located far from city centers during peak season.
• Due to external factors during this period, attractions may be closed, and substituted with other suitable venues.

Pricing for Children

+ Children under 5 years old: no service fee is charged, parents take care of the child themselves and pay for any additional costs (for services charged according to height...). Two adults are only allowed to accompany 1 child under 5 years old, the second child will pay the fee according to the regulations for children from 5 to under 12 years old and a single room surcharge. Air tickets, trains, and public transport tickets are purchased according to the regulations of the transport units.
+ Children from 5 years old to under 12 years old: 85% of the adult tour price (no private bed). Two adults are only allowed to accompany 1 child from 5 to under 12 years old, the second child or more must buy a single bed.
+ Children from 12 years old and up: buy a ticket like an adult
+ Air tickets must be purchased according to the regulations of each airline

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

Note when transferring/canceling the tour: After paying, if you want to transfer/cancel the tour, please bring the Tour Voucher to the tour registration office to complete the transfer/cancellation procedures and bear the fee according to Vietravel's regulations. Do not handle cases contacting to transfer/cancel tours via phone. - Allowed to switch to other travel routes before the departure date 20 days: No cost.
- If canceled or switched to other travel routes immediately after registration from 15-19 days before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 50% of the tour deposit.
- If canceled or switched to other travel routes from 12-14 days before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 100% of the tour deposit.
- If the trip is canceled within 8-11 days before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 50% of the tour price.
- If the trip is canceled within 5-7 days before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 70% of the tour price.
- If the trip is canceled within 2-4 days before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 90% of the tour price.
- If the trip is canceled within 1 day before the departure date: Tour cancellation fee: 100% of the tour price.
