Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – BU GIA MAP NATIONAL PARK (Lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Exploring the primary forest & local life

Meeting address: 319 No Trang Long, Binh Loi Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

• 6:30 Depart Ho Chi Minh City for Bu Gia Map National Park.
• At the park management office, hear about the tropical forest ecosystem and nature conservation
• Visit the wildlife rescue area and learn how rare species such as gibbons, turtles and jungle cats are cared for…
• Lunch amid the cool green of the great forest.
• Continue 25 km along a forest road by car into the core zone of Bu Gia Map National Park.
• Continue along DT 741 to Ranger Station No. 2, where the Bu Gia Map exploration begins.
• Start the forest trek, discovering diverse vegetation and medicinal plants and feeling the wild beauty of the primary forest.
• At the camping ground by the Dak Manh stream, join activities: swim in the stream in unspoilt nature; try catching stream fish; cook bamboo rice and grill chicken over a forest fire…
• Dinner with the flavours of the mountains, with S'tieng villagers.
• Gather around the fire to hear stories of the forest, local life and legends of the great forest.
• Overnight in Bu Gia Map National Park.

DAY 2: BU GIA MAP – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Along the forest stream – discovering the work of forest rangers

• Wake in the stillness of the primary forest, with a light breakfast by the stream and a hot coffee.
• Continue trekking along the stream and forest trails to Dak Ka Ranger Station.
• Learn about the life and work of the rangers – the quiet "forest guards" protecting the Bu Gia Map ecosystem.
• Rest by the stream, swim to relax and have lunch at a forest hut.
• Trek back to Ranger Station No. 2, where the coach takes the group back to the National Park headquarters.
• 15:30 Depart for Ho Chi Minh City, with dinner in Dong Xoai town. End of the Bu Gia Map forest exploration.

NOTE

• The trekking tour is suitable for children over 12.
• Guests with the following health conditions, or those unsuited to strenuous activities, please do not take part: high blood pressure, heart disease, fear of heights, asthma, epilepsy, pregnancy
• Waterproof any electronics you bring, such as phones, cameras and power banks.
• All rubbish brought in must be taken out.
• Do not wear jeans, including denim shorts.

Personal items to prepare:

• Bring picnic snacks for lunch along the way: chocolate, cakes, boiled eggs, bananas… (water is provided on the coach)
• Please bring a well-fitting hiking backpack with only necessary personal items, weighing about 3–4 kg.
• Please prepare hiking shoes with non-slip soles, 2–3 pairs of socks and sandals for the campsite
• Choose light, sweat-wicking sports clothing. Prepare 2 sets of clothes to change into on the way back
• Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sun-protection gloves, gloves, socks and a warm jacket
• Bring personal medication, electrolyte tablets, insect and leech repellent in case of allergies or bites
• Personal items and necessary electronic devices

Pricing for Children

- Children under 5 years old: no service charge, parents take care of the child themselves and pay for any additional costs (for services charged by height...). Two adults are only allowed to bring 1 child under 5 years old, the second child will pay a fee according to the regulation for children from 5 to under 12 years old and a single room supplement. Air tickets, trains, and public transport tickets are purchased according to the regulations of the transport providers.
- Children from 5 to under 12 years old: 75% of the adult tour price (no private bed). Two adults are only allowed to bring 1 child from 5 to under 12 years old, the second child or more must buy a single bed.
- Children 12 years and older: purchase a ticket like an adult

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

After paying, if you want to change/cancel your tour, please bring your Tourist Ticket to the tour registration office to complete the change/cancellation procedure and bear the fee according to Vietravel's regulations. Do not handle cases of contacting tour changes/cancellations by phone.
- The cancellation time of the tour is calculated for working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. - Allowed to switch to other tourist routes before the departure date 20 days: No charge.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours immediately after registration from 15-19 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours from 12-14 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the tour within 8-11 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 5-7 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 2-4 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 1 day before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- Allowed to switch to other tourist routes before the departure date 30 days: No charge.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours immediately after registration from 25-29 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours from 20-24 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the tour within 17-19 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 8-16 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 2-7 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 1 day before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour price.
