Into Cat Tien Forest – Living Green in Nature

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Cycling through the forest – exploring the primary forest ecosystem & Cat Tien nature

• Depart Ho Chi Minh City for Cat Tien National Park.
• Cross the Dong Nai River by ferry to enter Cat Tien National Park
• Begin a cycling trip through the green forest with the guide, exploring the route Cay Tung (Tung Tree) – Ghenh Ben Cu – Go Bac Dong Tree – Da Loc Giao Tree – Hundred-Trunk Fig Lake.
• See the Cay Tung, more than 400 years old, notable for its giant roots winding through the great forest
• Stop at Ghenh Ben Cu to feel the natural stream rapids and flowing water in the forest
• Learn the stories of the Go Bac Dong Tree and Da Loc Giao Tree – ancient trees with ecological value and special legends of Cat Tien forest
• Explore the Hundred-Trunk Fig Lake, where huge roots interlace like a maze over a clear stream, creating a mysterious, unspoilt space.
• Relax and immerse yourself in nature, trying the 600 m² "forest swimming pool" with cool, pristine spring water
• Evening: return to the National Park for a 50-minute ride in a specialised vehicle to see nocturnal wildlife.
• Back at the resort, join an outdoor campfire and BBQ, with socialising and singing in nature
• Overnight in Nam Cat Tien.

DAY 2: NAM CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast)

Main activities: Enjoying green living – relaxing in the primary forest

• Breakfast at the resort, enjoying the fresh air and a last relaxing moment in cool green nature.
• Free time to rest, stroll the resort grounds or take souvenir photos in the primary forest setting.
• The coach leaves Cat Tien National Park and returns to Ho Chi Minh City.
• Arrive at the original pick-up point. End of the "Into the Forest, Living Green" program.

Preparation notes:

• Wear light, airy, quick-drying, stretchy clothing; avoid jeans as they restrict movement.
• Long gloves and high socks are recommended to limit mosquitoes and leeches.
• Bring sports shoes or sandals suitable for walking and cycling in the forest.
• Prepare mosquito and leech repellent and necessary personal items.
• You may bring snacks for the road such as chocolate, cakes, boiled eggs, bananas and electrolyte drinks…

Pricing for Children

- Children under 5 years old: no service charge, parents take care of the child themselves and pay for any additional costs (for services charged by height...). Two adults are only allowed to bring 1 child under 5 years old, the second child will pay a fee according to the regulation for children from 5 to under 12 years old and a single room supplement. Air tickets, trains, and public transport tickets are purchased according to the regulations of the transport providers.
- Children from 5 to under 12 years old: 75% of the adult tour price (no private bed). Two adults are only allowed to bring 1 child from 5 to under 12 years old, the second child or more must buy a single bed.
- Children 12 years and older: purchase a ticket like an adult

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

After paying, if you want to change/cancel your tour, please bring your Tourist Ticket to the tour registration office to complete the change/cancellation procedure and bear the fee according to Vietravel's regulations. Do not handle cases of contacting tour changes/cancellations by phone.
- The cancellation time of the tour is calculated for working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. - Allowed to switch to other tourist routes before the departure date 20 days: No charge.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours immediately after registration from 15-19 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours from 12-14 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the tour within 8-11 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 5-7 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 2-4 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 1 day before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- Allowed to switch to other tourist routes before the departure date 30 days: No charge.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours immediately after registration from 25-29 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or switch to other tours from 20-24 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the tour within 17-19 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 8-16 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 2-7 days before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel the tour within 1 day before the departure date: Cancellation fee: 100% of the tour price.
