DAY 1: RACH GIA - DONG THAP - SPRING COLOURS AT TAN QUY DONG FLOWER VILLAGE - LAI VUNG PINK MANDARINS (Breakfast, lunch)

Guests meet at Vietravel An Giang (328 Nguyen Trung Truc, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang) and depart for Dong Thap

Arriving in Sa Dec - Dong Thap, the group begins the journey by electric car to explore the "city of flowers" with interesting stops:

    • Admire the simple beauty of Tan Quy Dong ornamental flower village - a century-old traditional craft village that bustles in spring, both on the wharf and aboard the boats: on the river, boats are moored and traders eagerly carry flowers from the bank onto the vessels; on the bank, all kinds of vehicles wait to carry ornamental plants to every part of the country.
    • Visit the "Rose Field" tourist area - immerse yourself in the cool green "orchard" setting with unique experiences such as rowing a boat drifting on a river of flowers, checking in at colourful hot-air balloons, seasonal lotus ponds… In particular, guests will enjoy the special flying snakehead fish performance.
    • Conquer the 18 m flower village viewing tower - the tower has viewing scopes so guests can look far over the whole bright scene of the century-old flower village.

Lunch at the Happy Land Hung Thy amusement area. After lunch, guests are free to rest and join folk games such as: pond-draining fish catching, balance bridge, river rope swing, cycling across a monkey bridge, wobbly bridge, stairway to heaven, a countryside market model, the date-palm path and many other games. (At own expense). The group continues to visit:

    • Lai Vung pink mandarin orchard - feel as if you have stepped into a fairytale garden, with smooth, glossy mandarins weighing down the fresh green trees; enjoy the sweet taste of this local specialty fruit.

In the afternoon the group departs back to Rach Gia. Farewell and end of the journey at the original pick-up point.

Note: Vietravel's programme is a package tour and does not apply discount or priority policies at attractions (if any) for children, seniors or people with revolutionary merit, so Vietravel does not refund the price difference to guests in these priority groups.
