TAY NINH: JOURNEY TO CONQUER THE ROOF OF SOUTHERN VIETNAM – VISIT THE GREAT MAITREYA BUDDHA STATUE (FREE 3 CABLE CAR LINES: HANG PAGODA – TAM AN – VAN SON)
A day trip to Ba Den Mountain, the highest peak in southern Vietnam.
Ride the cable cars past Hang Pagoda and Van Son Temple, then visit the great Maitreya Buddha statue at the summit. Three cable car lines are included in the tour.

A guide and vehicle will pick up the guests at Vietravel (190 Pasteur, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) to travel to Tay Ninh. After breakfast, the group will stop to admire the Tay Ninh Cathedral - a unique architectural complex, learning about Cao Dai - a religion originating in Vietnam.
Arriving at the Ba Den Mountain Scenic Area - famous for its pristine natural scenery and long-established spiritual architecture. Visitors can also check in at the world's largest cable car station, with its modern cable car system, making the pilgrimage to and conquering the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam even easier than ever before.
The program includes entry fees for 3 cable car lines: Chua Hang - Tam An - Van Son (*)
- The Chua Hang cable car line to the Chua Ba Spiritual Complex: At an altitude of 350m amidst the mountains are cave architecture complexes, with dozens of worship places creating solemnity in the mountains. Most notable is the Linh Son Tien Thach Tu (Chua Ba) - the oldest temple in Tay Ninh, closely associated with the religious life of the local people and also marking the time Buddhism arrived in Tay Ninh.
Continuing along the Tam An cable car line, the group will conquer the peak of Ba Den Mountain
- Touching the 986-meter milestone
- Standing under the waterfall and offering prayers to the Big Di Lac Buddha statue, shaped in a special way: composed of 6,688 naturally formed sandstone blocks, inspired by terraced rice fields
- Buddhist Art Exhibition Hall - admire Buddha relics, learn about the universe in Buddhist concept through 3D films, visit hundreds of versions of sculptures and Buddhist art works famous around the world
- Worship the "Tay Bo Da Son" bronze Buddha statue on the highest mountain in Asia.
Guests enjoy lunch at Sun World Ba Den Mountain. If Sun World Ba Den Mountain does not serve lunch, guests will have lunch at a restaurant in Tay Ninh on the way back.
The group will descend the mountain using the Van Son cable car line - bringing guests from the top back down to the foot of the mountain at the Ba Den Station.
Before departing for Ho Chi Minh City, the vehicle will take guests to visit:
- Hoan Ngoc 7 Nga - Tay Ninh: watch documentary films about the research process from cultivating, caring for, harvesting, to the production process of products with great benefits for the health of Hoan Ngoc trees. Visitors continue to visit the technology application chain that achieves high-quality production of Dong Trung Ha Thao alcohol.
- Hai Salt Company: shop for specialties known as the 'essence of spices in the holy land' such as premium shrimp salt, mixed banh trang salt, dried shrimp salt, vegetarian salt... to enhance flavors with Tay Ninh banh trang.
Farewell to Tay Ninh, the vehicle takes guests back to the initial pick-up point. The tour concludes.

Children under 1.4m tall are given a 150,000 VND discount compared to adults, while children 1.4m or taller should pay the adult tour price as the attraction calculates children's tickets based on height from 1m to under 1.4m.
- Children under 5 years old: no service fee is charged, parents are responsible for the child and pay for any extra expenses (for services charged according to height...). Two adults are only allowed to bring one child under 5 years old; the second child will pay the fee according to the regulations for children 5 years old and above.
- Children 5 years old and above: must purchase a full tour ticket like adults, including transportation, meals as per the program, entrance fees to sightseeing spots as per the regulations. Children under 1.4m tall receive a discount of VND 150,000 compared to adults; children 1.4m and taller, please pay the adult tour price as sightseeing spots charge children's tickets according to their height from 1m to less than 1.4m.
