My Tho – Thoi Son – Con Phung – Ben Tre

Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO - CU LAO THOI SON - CON PHUONG - BEN TRE (1 lunch)

Guests gather at Vietravel (190 Pasteur, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), and the tour departs for Tien Giang. Along the way, the group stops for breakfast (self-funded) and continues to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – the largest Buddhist temple in Tien Giang Province, which is listed as a national historical and cultural relic in 1984. The pagoda combines Asian and European architectural styles, with a strong traditional Vietnamese carving style inside.

The group travels to the My Tho tourist boat dock to begin a Mekong River cruise:

• Admire Rach Mieu Bridge – the first cable-stayed bridge designed and built by Vietnamese engineers, and learn about the Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung islands.
• Visit Cu Lao Thoi Son – visit a bee farm, learn from local beekeepers about beekeeping and the extraction of bee products; enjoy honey tea and local jam and candy.
• Continue to visit local homes, experience and interact with Southern Vietnamese folk music performances, and enjoy seasonal fruits.
• Explore the Mekong Delta's waterways by sampan through coconut palm-lined canals, and observe the daily life of the islanders.
• Sail down the Tien River to Con Phuong – Ben Tre (Dao Dua Island) – visit and explore the Dao Dua architecture, view exhibits of historical figures and landmarks in Ben Tre Province.
• Visit the Coconut Museum – displays numerous vivid images and artifacts of life, activities, and culture of the local people in Ben Tre; visit a coconut candy factory – a famous local specialty of Ben Tre;
• Visit the scenic CoCo Island near the river, surrounded by reeds and lush trees; enjoy photo opportunities at Stairway to Heaven, Bird's Nest, Coconut Wharf…Additionally, guests can participate in optional activities: crocodile fishing, recreational fishing, zorbing, foot massages… and water park activities: balance beam, bicycle across wooden bridges, ziplines, crossing the lake… (self-funded).

Return to the boat dock, guests board the vehicle for the return trip to Ho Chi Minh City. The vehicle takes the group back to the original pick-up location, concluding the tour.

Important Notes:

This is a package tour from Vietravel, and discounts or prioritization of attractions (if available) for children, the elderly, or revolutionary contributors are not applicable, so Vietravel will not provide refunds for the price difference for these priority customers.

Pricing for Children

- Children under 5 years old: no service charge, parents take care of the child themselves and pay for any additional costs (for services charged according to height...). Two adults are only allowed to accompany 1 child under 5 years old, the second child will pay the fee according to the regulations for children from 5 years old and above.
- Children 5 years old and above: must buy a full package tour ticket like adults, including transportation, meals according to the program, entrance fees according to the regulations of the attractions.
