Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – ZHANGJIAJIE (Light dinner)

Main activities: Departure for Zhangjiajie

• Fly to Zhangjiajie – a famous tourist city in Hunan Province with spectacular mountain scenery.
• Overnight in Zhangjiajie.

DAY 2: ZHANGJIAJIE – FENGHUANG ANCIENT TOWN (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Admire the ancient beauty beside the Tuo River

• Depart for Fenghuang Ancient Town – a town more than 1,300 years old, nestled beside the poetic Tuo River, notable for its old rooftops, stone streets and picturesque landscapes.
• Visit the ancient town, starting with the Hongqiao Wind and Rain Bridge Pavilion – a uniquely designed bridge across the Tuo River connecting the two banks of the town and one of Fenghuang's prominent symbols. Continue to the Dongmen Gate Tower, steeped in history, and typical sights such as the stilted houses, Wanming Pagoda and the Stone Slab Street, fully feeling the ancient charm and distinctive rhythm of life of this thousand-year-old land.
• Overnight in Fenghuang Ancient Town.

DAY 3: FENGHUANG ANCIENT TOWN – WULINGYUAN (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Discover Western Hunan culture

• Transfer to Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie to continue exploring Western Hunan.
• Visit a Miao village to learn about the life, architecture and distinctive traditional customs of the Miao ethnic people.
• Junqing Painting Institute - a museum displaying unique sand-painting artworks that vividly recreate Zhangjiajie's majestic scenery through highly artistic works.
• Shopping visit at a Traditional Chinese Medicine store, learning about traditional Chinese health-care products and methods.
• Check in outside the 72 Strange Towers, an impressive architectural work inspired by Tujia and Miao culture, especially brilliant when lit up.
• Overnight in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie.

DAY 4: WULINGYUAN – TIANMEN MOUNTAIN (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Conquer Tianmen Mountain

• Visit Tianmen Mountain – one of Zhangjiajie's most famous scenic sites, impressive for its majestic rocky mountain terrain. Guests experience the cable car system to view the mountain scenery from above and try the sensation of walking on the glass path along the cliff (the program includes the cable car, shuttle cart and lift inside the scenic area).
• Check in at the "Heaven's Gate" - the symbol of Tianmen Mountain, a giant natural rock arch formed through the mountain. See the 999 steps leading up to Heaven's Gate, creating a very impressive scene amid steep cliffs and the clouds of Zhangjiajie.
• Shopping visit at a silk store, learning about China's signature silk products.
• Overnight in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie.

Optional suggestion outside the program: Guests can sign up to enjoy the "Eternal Love" (Tianmen Fox Fairy) show to discover the distinctive culture and art of Western Hunan (at own expense).

DAY 5: ZHANGJIAJIE – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Boat ride on Baofeng Lake – closing the Zhangjiajie journey

• Boat ride on Baofeng Lake – a clear green lake amid the mountains of Wulingyuan, notable for its peaceful setting surrounded by rocky cliffs and cool green forest.
• Shopping visit at a tea store, learning about China's long-established tea culture and its signature teas.

Optional suggestion outside the program: guests can register for an optional tour to the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge - a famous glass-bottomed bridge looking down on Zhangjiajie park, said to have inspired the fairy-tale scenery in the hit film Avatar (at own expense)

• Transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport and check in for the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.
• End of the journey.

Note: For full-charter flights, if the flight routing or flying rights are not granted by the authorities of the host country and are beyond Vietravel's control, resulting in flight cancellation, Vietravel will refund the tour fee paid and is exempt from compensation liability.

Pricing for Children

• Children under 2 years old: 30% of the adult tour price, no private bed.
• Children from 2 to under 12 years old flying with VJ: 90% of the adult tour price, no private bed; 100% of the adult tour price, with a private bed.
• Note: If you travel with 01 adult and 01 child under 12, please pay the child price with a bed in order to have 01 room.

- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 12-14 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 20-24 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the trip right after the Embassy or Consulate has issued the visa (for countries requiring a visa): the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 08-11 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 14-19 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 05-07 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 10-13 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 02-04 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 02-09 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip within 01 day before the departure date: the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- If you cancel or transfer to other tours more than 30 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and more than 45 days before the departure date for all other tours: no fee.
- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 25-29 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 34-44 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 20-24 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 25-33 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the trip right after the Embassy or Consulate has issued the visa (for countries requiring a visa): the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
