Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CHUBU – SHIRAKAWAGO – TAKAYAMA (Lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Departure for Japan

• The night before Day 1: The Vietravel tour leader meets guests at the International Terminal – Tan Son Nhat Airport. Fly to Chubu Airport, Japan; overnight on the plane. Guests have a light breakfast on the plane as arranged by the airline.
• Visit the ancient town of Gujo Hachiman – the birthplace of Japan's famous fake-food model making. Experience a food-model workshop, the local speciality.
• Transfer to Shirakawago ancient village – a UNESCO World Heritage Site notable for its hundreds-of-years-old gassho-zukuri thatched-roof houses, with free time to sightsee and keep the moments
• Transfer to Takayama, have dinner and check in at the hotel.

DAY 2: TAKAYAMA – MATSUMOTO – KAWAGUCHIKO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Nostalgia in old Takayama

• Stroll through Takayama Old Town – an old quarter that preserves its Edo-era architecture intact, famous for its traditional sake shops.
• Transfer to Matsumoto and have lunch at a local restaurant
• Admire Matsumoto Castle – one of Japan's oldest surviving original castles, nicknamed the "Crow Castle" (visit from the outside)
• Check in at the hotel, dinner with the speciality snow crab legs (each guest is served one portion of snow crab legs) and an Onsen bath experience.
• Overnight in the Kawaguchiko area (depending on actual conditions, the hotel may be arranged in Yamanashi, Atami or Hakone to suit the next day's sightseeing program).

DAY 3: KAWAGUCHIKO – MOUNT FUJI – TOKYO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: The Fuji region and the ancient village of Oshino Hakkai

• Visit Mount Fuji (Station 1 or Station 5 will be visited depending on traffic and on the actual weather conditions the Japanese government allows access to).
• For departures from 28/12 to 15/02: Free time to play and experience snow at the Fujiten Snow Resort (entrance ticket and sled included; other rides and specialised ski equipment rental at own expense. Please prepare suitable warm clothing).
• For the remaining departure dates: Visit Oshino Hakkai village – an ancient village with a system of crystal-clear ponds fed by melted snow from Mount Fuji
• Transfer to Tokyo, free time to explore Shibuya Crossing and take souvenir photos with the statue of the loyal dog Hachiko.
• Overnight in Tokyo

DAY 4: TOKYO – NARITA (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Colours of Tokyo

• Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, whose two main gates are connected by the Nakamise shopping street. See and take photos with the Tokyo Skytree from the Asakusa Temple area.
• Take photos outside the Imperial Palace.
• Transfer to Narita and enjoy free shopping at the AEON Narita shopping centre
• Overnight in Narita

DAY 5: NARITA – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast)

Main activities: End of the journey

• Breakfast at the hotel or a boxed breakfast.
• Take the hotel shuttle bus to the airport.
• Take the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.
• End of the program.

Pricing for Children

● Children under 2 years old: 30% of the adult tour price.
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 75% of the adult tour price (no private bed).
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 90% of the adult tour price (with a private bed).
● Children 12 years old and above: 100% of the adult tour price.
Note: If you travel with 01 adult and 01 child under 12, please pay the child price with a bed in order to have 01 room.

- Doi voi nhung tour con thoi han huy nhung da lam visa, Quy khach vui long thanh toan phi visa; sau khi dat coc tour va truoc khi Vietravel nop phi visa: phi dat coc ve may bay se khong duoc hoan lai; truong hop Quy khach bi tu choi visa, le phi va dich vu xin Visa se khong hoan lai.
- Thoi gian huy chuyen du lich duoc tinh cho ngay lam viec tu thu 2 den thu 6, khong tinh thu 7, Chu Nhat va cac ngay nghi Le, Tet.
- Sau khi dat coc tour va truoc khi Vietravel nop Visa: chi phi khong hoan lai la 2.000.000 VND (phi dat coc ve may bay)
- Sau khi Vietravel nop Visa: chi phi khong hoan lai la 3.000.000 VND

- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 12-14 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 20-24 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel the trip right after the Embassy or Consulate has issued the visa (for countries requiring a visa): the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 08-11 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 14-19 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 50% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 05-07 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 10-13 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 02-04 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 02-09 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip within 01 day before the departure date: the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- If you cancel or transfer to other tours more than 30 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and more than 45 days before the departure date for all other tours: no fee.
- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 25-29 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 34-44 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 20-24 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 25-33 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
