Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – COLOMBO – NEGOMBO (Light meal on the plane)

Main activities: Departure for the island nation of Sri Lanka

• Guests gather at Tan Son Nhat Airport and check in for the flight to Colombo.
• On arrival at Colombo International Airport, the local guide greets the group with a welcome garland in the Sri Lankan custom.
• The coach takes the group to Negombo (about 20 minutes), a seaside city right next to the airport.
• Light dinner at the hotel and overnight in Negombo.

DAY 2: COLOMBO – SIGIRIYA – KANDY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & the old capital Kandy

• Depart for Sigiriya (about 4 hours) – in Sri Lanka's cultural triangle.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Conquer Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO heritage) – built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century, notable for its water gardens, Sigiriya frescoes, Mirror Wall, Lion Gate and the royal palace ruins on top, amid green plains.
• Continue to Kandy (about 2 hours) – the last old capital of the Sri Lankan kingdoms.
• Check in at the hotel and have dinner.
• Overnight in Kandy.

DAY 3: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: The Tooth Relic & the "Little England" tea highlands

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – a sacred temple housing the Buddha's tooth relic, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
• Depart for Nuwara Eliya (about 3 hours).
• The group has lunch at a restaurant with panoramic views of the valley and a natural waterfall.
• Visit a Ceylon tea factory, learning about the tea production process and tasting famous Ceylon teas.
• Visit the city of Nuwara Eliya – known as "Little England" in the heart of Sri Lanka, with a cool climate all year round and strongly colonial-style architecture.
• Check in at the hotel and have dinner.
• Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Note: Guests can register for a light hiking experience among the green tea hills of Nuwara Eliya, following the resort's local guide to explore the tea hills around the hotel and learn about the natural beauty and the life of the tea-growing people.

DAY 4: NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – YALA (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: A free experience of Sri Lanka's most beautiful rail route

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Depart early for the train station.
• Complimentary Nanu Oya – Ella train experience (about 3 hours) – one of the most spectacular railway journeys in the world, passing jade-green tea hills, misty mountains, waterfalls, villages and tunnels in the highlands.
• Note: The train experience is confirmed flexibly at the time of departure, depending on the operating schedule of Sri Lanka Railways. Seats are arranged according to actual availability and on a first-come, first-boarded basis. A road journey will be applied flexibly as a replacement, with a replacement experience offered: Discover Balapitiya – a boat trip on the Madhu River, weaving through green waterways and the typical natural ecosystem; visit a sea turtle conservation centre, learning about efforts to protect and restore sea turtles in Sri Lanka.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Visit the Nine Arch Bridge – a colonial architectural icon in the tropical forest. (tuk tuk transfer included, 3 guests per vehicle)
• Continue to Yala (about 2 hours).
• Check in at the hotel and have dinner.
• Overnight in Yala.

DAY 5: YALA – GALLE – COLOMBO (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Wild safari & a coastal old town

• Packed breakfast, then depart on a jeep safari in Yala National Park – Sri Lanka's most famous national park; crossing forest, grassland and swamp to look for elephants, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, spotted deer and many rare birds.
• Return to the hotel for a snack and check-out, then transfer to Galle (about 2.5 hours).
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Explore Galle Fort (UNESCO heritage) by tuk tuk – a fortress built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and reinforced by the Dutch, with cobbled streets, colonial architecture, churches, cafes and an iconic lighthouse.
• Stop for photos at the stilt-fishing area – a signature image of the Sri Lankan coast. Guests who wish to try it or take photos with the stilt fishermen should pay at own expense.
• Check in at the hotel and have dinner.
• Overnight in Bentota or Colombo

DAY 6: COLOMBO - HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: The capital Colombo & dinner at a revolving restaurant

• Free time to rest, with late hotel check-out.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara – one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Sri Lanka.
• Visit the Gangaramaya Temple – where traditional Sri Lankan architecture blends with many precious Buddhist treasures.
• Sightsee in Colombo: the Fort area, Cinnamon Gardens, Lotus Tower (visit from the outside), the Pettah district, the Dutch Church.
• Free shopping in the city centre: One Galle Face, Colombo City Centre, ODEL, Laksala.
• Enjoy an international buffet dinner at the 360-degree revolving restaurant inside the Lotus Tower.
• The group departs for the airport to check in for the flight back to Vietnam.
• Overnight on the plane.

DAY 7: HO CHI MINH CITY

Main activities: End of the journey.

• The group arrives at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
• End of the Sri Lanka discovery journey – a land where wild nature, spiritual culture and unique colonial heritage meet.

Pricing for Children

• Children under 2 years old: 30% of the adult tour price.
• Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 75% of the adult tour price (no private bed).
• Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 90% of the adult tour price (with a private bed).
• Children 12 years old and above: 100% of the adult tour price.

- If you cancel or transfer the trip 05-07 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 10-13 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 70% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip 02-04 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 02-09 days before the departure date for all other tours: the cancellation fee is 90% of the tour price.
- If you cancel or transfer the trip within 01 day before the departure date: the cancellation fee is 100% of the tour price.

- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 25-29 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 34-44 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 50% of the tour deposit.
- If you cancel or transfer to other tours 20-24 days before the departure date (Southeast Asia tours) and 25-33 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
