Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ✈ PARIS

Main activities: Departing for Paris, the City of Light

• The Vietravel tour leader meets guests at Tan Son Nhat Airport and assists with check-in for the flight to Paris (transit depends on the airline).
• Overnight on the plane.

DAY 2: PARIS (Dinner)

Main activities: Arriving in splendid Paris

• Take photos with Paris's signature icons: the Louvre Museum with its Pyramid; the Arc de Triomphe – an iconic monument of France tied to national history and pride; Trocadero Square – admire and photograph the Eiffel Tower from one of the best viewpoints in Paris; the Champs-Elysees – one of the capital's most famous avenues, home to luxury shops, restaurants, cafes and an elegant Parisian atmosphere.
• Overnight in Paris.

DAY 3: PARIS – NANCY – COLMAR CHRISTMAS MARKET (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Exploring elegant Nancy in the Lorraine region

• Depart for Nancy – the “ancient jewel” of northeastern France.
• Take photos at Place Stanislas – one of the most beautiful squares in France, surrounded by landmarks such as: Nancy Town Hall – a masterpiece of elegant French urban architecture; Nancy Cathedral – an imposing religious building with ancient architecture that adds to the historic beauty of the city centre; and the Opera national de Lorraine – a prestigious arts venue tied to Nancy's cultural life.
• Continue to Colmar – the city known as the “Fairy-tale Paradise” of France
• Immerse yourself in the warm, bright Christmas atmosphere; explore the local culture, enjoy local cuisine and sip mulled wine in the fairy-tale setting of the Colmar Christmas Market (at own expense)
• Overnight in Colmar.

DAY 4: COLMAR – ISELTWALD – LUCERNE (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: From fairy-tale Colmar to the Swiss lakes and mountains, with the Lucerne scenic train

• Begin exploring Colmar – a fairy-tale town in Alsace, famous for colourful half-timbered houses, picturesque canals and a distinctive storybook atmosphere.
• Take photos at La Petite Venise – the “Little Venice” of Colmar, a famous canal where rows of old houses are reflected in the water.
• Depart for the Basel tri-border point – where Switzerland, France and Germany meet, an interesting symbol of the cultural and geographical connection of Central Europe.
• Continue to Iseltwald – a poetic lakeside village on the shore of Lake Brienz, one of the notable scenes in the drama “Crash Landing on You”.
• Travel to Lucerne – the city known as the “Jewel of Switzerland”, check in to the hotel and rest.

DAY 5: LUCERNE – ENGELBERG – MILAN (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Feeling the Alpine atmosphere and exploring ancient Lucerne

• Stroll around Lucerne Old Town and take photos at: the Chapel Bridge – the iconic wooden bridge across the Reuss River; the Jesuit Church with its elegant Baroque architecture, and enjoy the peaceful scenery by Lake Lucerne with the Alps in the distance.
• Free time to shop at Bucherer – a store famous for Swiss watches, jewellery and premium products.
• Experience a journey on the Lucerne – Engelberg Express train, crossing peaceful countryside, vast forests and majestic mountain regions, offering beautiful views of Swiss nature.
• Stroll around Engelberg village, feel the peaceful beauty of the mountain houses and fresh air, and take photos with the Titlis mountain range – one of the outstanding symbols of the Engelberg region and the grandeur of the Alps.
• Continue to Milan – the city known as the “Fashion Capital”, check in to the hotel and rest.

DAY 6: MILAN – LUCCA (Breakfast, dinner)

Main activities: Exploring fashionable Milan and shopping at Serravalle

• Take photos outside the Sforza Castle – one of the largest military fortresses in Europe; Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) – one of Europe's most famous Gothic masterpieces and an unmissable symbol of Milan; La Scala Theatre – one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world; Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – a long-established luxury shopping arcade notable for its fine glass dome and Italian shopping atmosphere.
• Free time to sightsee and shop at Designer Outlet Serravalle – one of Europe's largest luxury outlet centres, dubbed a "heaven on earth" for brand-name hunters, and have lunch there (at own expense).
• Overnight in Pisa/Lucca.

DAY 7: LUCCA – PISA – ROME (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Main activities: Admiring the Leaning Tower of Pisa and arriving in legendary Rome

• Explore Pisa – a famous ancient city of Tuscany with its signature landmarks. Walk into Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), take photos at the Leaning Tower of Pisa – the famous symbol of Italy, the Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Cathedral – typical buildings of the square complex showing the fine architectural art of the Middle Ages.
• Depart for Rome – the capital of Italy, the eternal city famous for its ancient Roman monuments.
• Overnight in Rome.

DAY 8: ROME ✈ HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch)

Main activities: Following the immortal icons of Rome

• Begin exploring Rome – one of the richest cities in history and heritage in Europe.
• Walk to the Vatican Walls, take photos at St Peter's Square and St Peter's Basilica – the iconic Catholic complex, notable for its majestic architecture and sacred space in the heart of Rome.
• Admire the Colosseum and the Roman Forum – masterpieces of ancient architecture and engineering.
• Stroll around ancient central Rome, visiting Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps – famous destinations marked by Baroque art and the romantic beauty of Italy's capital.
• Transfer to Rome airport and check in for the flight back to Vietnam (transit depends on the airline).
• Overnight on the plane.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY

Main activities: Ending the France – Switzerland – Italy journey

• On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, the Vietravel tour leader says goodbye to guests and hopes to meet again on future journeys.

Pricing for Children

● Children under 2 years old: 30% of the adult tour price.
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 75% of the adult tour price (no private bed).
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 90% of the adult tour price (with a private bed).
● Children aged 12 and over: 100% of the adult tour price.
For tours using Turkish Airlines (TK):
● Children under 2 years old: 30% of the adult tour price.
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 85% of the adult tour price (no private bed).
● Children from 2 to under 12 years old: 100% of the adult tour price (with a private bed).
● Children aged 12 and over: 100% of the adult tour price.

Tour Change and Cancellation Policy

- After payment, if you wish to transfer/cancel the tour, please bring your Travel Ticket, receipt and ID (of the paying guest) to the tour registration office to complete the transfer/cancellation procedure in accordance with Vietravel's regulations. Or you can contact a Vietravel consultant for guidance on the procedure.
- For tours still within the cancellation period but for which a visa has been processed, please pay the visa fee; after the tour deposit is paid and before Vietravel submits the visa fee, the airline ticket deposit fee is non-refundable; if a visa application is refused, visa fees and services are non-refundable.
- Tour cancellation time is counted in working days from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and Tet.
- If a Schengen visa is refused, the non-refundable fee is VND 5,500,000 per guest - Cancelling or transferring to other tours 20 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 30 days before the departure date for all other tours: no charge.
- Cancelling or transferring to other tours 15-19 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 25-29 days before the departure date for all other tours: the transfer/cancellation fee is 50% of the tour deposit.
- Cancelling or transferring to other tours 12-14 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 20-24 days before the departure date for all other tours: the transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If the trip is cancelled right after the Embassy/Consulate has issued the visa (for countries requiring a visa): the tour cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- Cancelling or transferring a trip 08-11 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 14-19 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour cancellation fee is 50% of the tour price.
- Cancelling or transferring a trip 05-07 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 10-13 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour cancellation fee is 70% of the tour price.
- Cancelling or transferring a trip 02-04 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 02-09 days before the departure date for all other tours: the tour cancellation fee is 90% of the tour price.
- Cancelling or transferring a trip within 01 day before the departure date: the tour cancellation fee is 100% of the tour price.

Cancellation Policy for Public Holidays and Tet

- Cancelling or transferring to other tours 30 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 45 days before the departure date for all other tours: no charge.
- Cancelling or transferring to other tours 25-29 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 34-44 days before the departure date for all other tours: the transfer/cancellation fee is 50% of the tour deposit.
- Cancelling or transferring to other tours 20-24 days before the departure date (for Southeast Asia tours) and 25-33 days before the departure date for all other tours: the transfer/cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
- If the trip is cancelled right after the Embassy/Consulate has issued the visa (for countries requiring a visa): the tour cancellation fee is 100% of the tour deposit.
